The oklahoma department of human service's/ child protective service's will not place my children with an approved kinship family member. For 4 month's we have tried to get the children placed in our approved kinship placement but the case worker, supervisor and county director refuses to take my children out of this stranger's foster home and place them with a very well emotional bond family member. Dhs/CPS tells us that they dont want to move the children "to many time's"!!! They say it would traumatize them!!! We have asked them: How can taking my children out of a stranger's home and placing them with a family member more traumatizing thenn then keeping them with a stranger and only letting the family see the children twice a month for one hour????? They just answer back as, "that's what we believe is best for the children".
