I contacted this company from a Craigslist posting (first mistake) to design logos for business use on 5 February 2011. I made a deposit of $150.00 for work to begin.

I chose several samples/templates from his website which I liked and asked him to incorporate those in the logos that I wanted. He did not use my chosen templates and instead he gave me some different designs to which I provided him with specific creative, artistic & basic feedback edits. After 10 revisions, and repeated notes about what to change, the edits were never read, incorporated or used. Rather, I received a design completely different than that requested in the edit content. In fact, this designer provided me design mock-ups that were already trademarked or had patent.

The owner stipulated on 2/6/11 via Skype that final logo designs are deliverable, at the most, within two weeks.

Numerous & repeated emails and Skype conversations with him, asked for very clear, specific revisions that were basic. We asked to not use blues, yet the very next round he sent were - yes - blue. I outlined specifically identified templates for use that were available on his website, but he completely ignored this in his redrafts & rather chose to do something completely arbitrary and without consistent direction, care or in a means to working towards a final design

Entering into business with this sham designer was a huge mistake. He's a con-artist who doesn't consider client input & then stiffs you for the deposit. I paid $150 (1/2 total cost) to him in February. Since then, he's strung me along for months, either failing to reply to my emails for
over a month or given me property previously owned with my biz text/name incorporated. Certainly not what we discussed or thought I would receive nor in the spirit of agreement.

In the end, Mr. Murphy has provided me NOTHING over the past 4.5 months but a headache. Not only has this been a complete waste of time, but he's refused to refund the $150 deposit I made. As he's done nothing in return to earn this, I've asked for my money back, which he's refused so far.
