I did not get a receipt with the Magellan and did not think anything of it at the time. A month ago the Magellan quit working. I contacted Magellan and they agreed to fix the unit within the one year warranty, however they required a proof of purchase. I contacted Digital Delivered numerous times and continually got promises to send me a copy of the proof of purchase. They were always friendly and made promises that I believe they never intended to keep. I was willing to receive a fax, an email attachment or a mailed copy, but nothing ever was delivered to me. At this point, they started to put me on hold and never would talk to me again. I don't really understand why they could not reproduce a proof of purchase statement for me, but they apparently have something to hide from Magellan. I am now stuck with the problem of a defective GPS unit and no proof of purchase to get it repaired.
