The other $2945 is for you to send back to their company through western union. They claim that western union is scamming people. The idea behind the scam is that you deposit the check buy the stuff and send the money back before the check clears then they make $2945 and the check bounces. People do answer the phone number and claim that they are not a scam however the number that you call is registered in quebec canada and their company is listed in New York.
