I ordered a digital camera from digitalelect.com and found that cancellation policies were no where on their site, only contained in the email order confirmation. Also terms about added costs such as "insurance" would be added and that the quote on my order was not an absolute. Here is the part of the email confirmation that seemed to me to be unacceptable;

" *** Orders CANNOT be canceled via email. You can cancel the order prior to verification and processing, once your order is canceled, you will be given a 9 digit cancellation confirmation over the phone.

Please retain this 9 digit cancellation # as it is your only proof that your order was canceled.

**Once an order has shipped, it CANNOT be canceled."

I immediately sent them an email anyway and called this morning to cancel.

After reading a plethora of complaints on sitejabber.com and thoughts-of-dave.blogspot.com I now think I will have my credit card re-issued with a new number. Beware of this site!
