In April 2009 my husband joined the company because they offered him a $100 gas card. He turned right around and cancelled the membership. He was also given a cancellation nubmer. No money was ever took from our account and no gas card was ever sent. For some reason in August, September & October this company took 24.99 each month for Diners Advantage and 24.99 for shop club. I did not notice this until I received my October statement. I called the company on 10/6/2009 and spoke with someone who advised me that this mistake would be taken care of and I should receive a full refund within 25 days for a total of $149.94 and gave me a cancellation number. On 10/27/09 I called back to follow up on my refund and and to go over the whole problem again. This time the lady that I spoke with assured me that the money would be there within 7-10 days. On 11/4/09 still no refund. I called back and spoke with someone who had to take all of my information AGAIN. I advised the customer service rep that I wanted a call back with an explanation as to why my refund was not in my account. On 11/4/09 I reported this company to the Better Business Bereau. On 11/5/09 no one had called me back so I called AGAIN and asked to speak with a manager who told me that she would work on it. She called me back and told me that she had worked on it and I should have the money no later than 11/9/09. On 11/11/09 still no refund in my account so I called back and spoke with the same manager who told me that I would be getting a refund but she could not tell me when this time. Hopefully this week. We will see!
