I just recieved a collection letter from National Credit Solutions regarding a bill for $152.56 for Music Service from Direct Brands, Inc: Music Service formally BMG Music. When I called them and told them I had NO IDEA what this was in reference to and that I had NEVER purchased any music services from anyone, they stated unless I could PROVE I didn't then the collection would remain. The address they had listed was one I lived at for a short period of time in 2005! Junk mail in my name obviously continued to be sent to that address (it was a rental home) and someone ordered music services from it!! How am I supposed to prove I didnt live there? I had no actual physical address for months after living there as I didnt change my address on my license until a year later. And now I get stuck with a bill for over $150 dollars for something I never ordered or used! And there is no customer service for this company as they are no longer in buisness!
