On Sept 3, 2010 I applied for insurance with Direct General insurance. I had liability insurance with them before and had recently seen the commercial and decided to return.


I was not informed by the agent I was not actually getting insurance through Direct, but through Links since I was only getting liability. Unfortunately, I had an accident on Sept 5, 2010. I gave what I thought was Direct, information to the other party. On Tuesday, Sept 6, I called Direct, spoke to a lady (I don't recall the name), gave her my information and that of the other party. Since I had not heard from an adjuster I called Direct back, going through the same information once again. After over an hour of talking to Direct, I found out there was no record of my original claim and in fact, Direct did not even have me as being with them. Was finally told I needed to talk to Links, and was given the nbr to call. I called them and repeated for the 3rd time info needed to file my claim.
