We were sold a bogus bundle package from Direct TV back in November. We've since been told by AT&T that the phone and internet offered by Direct was never available in our area. We have tried since to disconnect and they will not disconnect. They continue to bill us against authorization and are threatening to report us to the credit bureaus. Our bill is now upwards of $700 and we disconnected their equipment three months ago. In an effort to get it resolved and maintain our current level of service, we maintained Comcast High-Speed Internet which cost double because of Direct failing to maintain their agreement. Can someone help us out of this mess? Direct will no longer accept our calls. We have copious records of calling and also, the Direct TV notes will specify our attempt to resolve this matter.
