Safes received via UPS in good time.

1. Safes were supposed to be brand new but showed signs of use. Black smudge marks on from of safe, etc.

2. Original instructions/manual were not included, but were replace by instructions for a different safe model/brand?

3. Safes could not be opened! The keypad on the safe did not work. The keys provided as a secondary resource to open the safes did not work either.

4. Safes were absolutely useless!

Customer service offered to send replacement parts for the safes. I did not wish to do repairs on the safes, as I had ordered them, and understood them to be NEW!

Customer service said they would take the safes back and refund my money. Problem is, the safes cost me $112.75 to ship back via UPS ground. The return shipping costs almost eat up my refund.

Paypal refunded me for the full price of the safes after I had returned them, plus $53 to help cover the return shipping costs. Net loss for doing business with www.DiscountTommy.com is $59.75.

My conclusion:
I believe that DiscountTommy.com knowingly sells junk and hopes that buyers will be too overwhelmed or too lazy to ship back and sort out the details. I am asking for a refund for the $59.75, but my main purpose for reporting this is to warn others.
