I own a credit card with Discovery that has voyager miles connected to the card. Last year I saw a option on the internet that gave me fast miles option that increases the miles by the amount you spend. The function they had was just a activation function. So I was under the impression I have to activate the fast miles first, because I paid a Pro Rata fee for the rest of the year. About a week ago I saw they took R1850 for the fast miles a year direct of my account. I then went to FNB which helped me lodge a complaint with discovery. The person on the otherside gave me a ref no. and said it will be sorted out with in 2 working days. I did not receive any respons until today by email that Discovery can not reverse the amount before the billing year are over. Ref no.1539492272 a mr Richter. Surely if they can chardge me pro rata they can reverse the amount pro rata. I also would like to know how they can just take money from my credit card without me signing a contract of some sort or just confirmation? Please help me.
