I bought a car, and the guy I bought the from told me he will be going to the dmv to take care of the papers, and never mentioned that the renewal was pass due, when I took the papers to dmv to change the ownership, the dmv told me that I must pay the pastdue that was in the car before I bought the car, and my question is why will dmv force me to pay for money that is owned them by another person.
