I previously rented a house in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles and the owner refused to fix things and abide by the building code. I was electricuted twice and sustained injuries and 2 other people I know were electricuted as well. The person that owned the house owned 80 other properties in CA and the house has since been sold therefore the estate would have to be sued.
The new owner is having to replace all the electrical and plumbing to bring it up to code otherwise the city said no one can live in the house.
I have ample documentation and winesses and the new owner is willing to assist.
