We had held the domain SoulsofDestiny.com for several years.
Due to oversight the domain went a few days over the date of original purchase, which has occurred on a few of our other names with no problem, until this.

Normal practice is a 30 day grace period, but in this case we discovered the oversight after receiving an e-mail asking if we wanted to buy our domain because we also owned the .net & .org names.

Simply put, if someone wants your name godaddy skips all of the normal request and forces you to pay hundreds of dollars to get it back. But this other company was already trying to sell it back to us.

Needless to say we no longer do business with this low down gutter trash of a company. So heads up if you don't want the swindling crooks at GoDaddy ripping you off. They have the moral ethics of a sewer rats.
Actually that's an insult to the sewer rats.
