I am 70 and a slick talking young man came to my door offering magazines for some good cause that I actually don't think he ever directly named. After sweet talking me for several minutes i gave him a check for $64.00. and signed a pre-printed receipt for a 2 year subscription to American Cowboy. After he left and i was sitting at my computer and noticed that although the top copy i signed had all the information the man entered, my two copies had no entries at all. I was suddenly alarmed and typed "American Circulation Inc" into Google and SIX PAGES OF COMPLAINTS calling it a "FRAUD" and a "SCAM" filled my screen. First thing this morning i went to my band and fortunately I was in time to cancel the check.
