The Downtube was established in 1996. We started designing and importing bikes in 2003. After tge introduction of our full suspension model in 2005 we quickly became of the largest folding bike manufacturers in the USA and Indonesia. For 2015 we have introduced the first ever 20" wheel folding bike with suspension and a carbon belt drive system.
