Do not let this person near your dog. I took my 3 1/2 year old long haired chihuahua, Cooper, to my clinic for an allergy shot. This person was the visiting vet. He did not draw the medicine, the vet tech did. When he injected it into Cooper, Cooper screamed and dropped dead. The so called vet just stood there. When I asked him what was going on, he said, oh, dogs have heart attacks and die all the time. He never showed any remorse, never said he was sorry or anything. It has been two years and I am still in the middle of a lawsuit. By law in Florida, the vet must draw the medication. He either injected Cooper w/ the wrong medicine, gave the shot too quickly or gave it to him in the wrong place. Please, do not let a visiting vet ever "take care" of your baby.
