On 10/17/07 I had a full face phenol peel under conscious sedation. At 6 weeks post-peel, my face is red ( as expected) BUT the redness is streaky and blotchy all over my face. The uneven application of my peel is the cause of this unacceptable result. It is impossible to apply makeup and look presentable. I do not feel this BOARD-CERTIFIED plastic surgeon should be doing peels that lead to such a horrible-looking interim result.
