I signed up as a landlord to order a credit report and background check on a tenant. My credit card(S) were declined. I have impeccable credit. I called their support number to resolve and was told only that Paypal was denying my charge. First of all - what kind of a legitimate company (besides ebay) uses Paypal as their credit card processing company. Second - the representative implied that I have had problems with Paypal in the past. As I have NEVER had a paypal account - this is impossible. Third - when I asked for the phone number of Paypal to resolve this - I was told I would have to look it up on the Internet. I am afraid for my identity as I allowed them access to my information to obtain instant credit reports DO NOT USE e-renter
