This is a short summary of my experience with Eagles View Flight school located at Monmouth Airport in Farmingdale, New Jersey.
I went to them for a Private Pilot BFR. Their instructor John Hannon gave me a 1.8 BFR flight which only had 3 flight maneuvers!! It was more like a sightseeing flight. After 1.8 of a "sightseeing " flight with Eagles View the instructor still wanted more flight time!!
He also charged me for 3 hours instructor time. Twenty plus minutes of this was as he fueled the plane!! I called the owner Priscilla Hargrave and complained. She said that she would speak to her instructor and call me back. I waited 6 days and she never called back. I had paid cash which was a huge mistake. If I had paid with a credit card she would have called back!!
This is NOT how a reputable business treats their customers. I wound up getting my BFR at Linden airport in 1.0 flight and 1.0 ground. All of my past four BFR reviews have always taken this amount of time. If you would like more details of this nightmare BFR feel free to call me
