I think a delivery charge od $12.00 for a local delivery is ridiculous so I did not order the item.

Terrible service
My mother got me an edible arrangement for my 26th birthday. I was wicked excited when she told me. Well we went to Bingo that night and when we got back it turned out the guy tried to deliver it to our house and we were not there. That was ok, because they said they would come the next day. Around noon the next day she called and asked them when it would be here and they said it is being put on the truck now and will be there soon.
3 hours went by I called and asked and they said it is still on the truck. Then another 2 hours later we called again and it was STILL on the truck. It was wicked hot that day and I was getting mad. They kept telling us it was on it's way but it wasn't. My mom said I paid a lot of money for that to be delivered not to be riding around in a truck all day. The lady said mam the truck is refrigerated. My mother said I don't care it was still on there all day and my daughter has been waiting and it's not right.
Finally at 4pm the Driver called and said he would be there in an hour cause he got lost. How could we have gotten lost when we live within a 30minute walking distance from them and a 5 minute drive from them. We finally got the arrangement an hour later and IMMEDIATELY called the company to complain.
What made us mad was they kept telling us it was on it's way when it wasn't. Not worth the hassle.

Poor quality fruit!
BUYER BEWARE!!! I received a fruit arrangement and the majority of the fruit was not ripe. The honeydew and cantelope were visibly not ripe. When you tried to eat them, they were as hard as a rock. The cutout pineapple flowers were very pretty but were brown around the edges. The only fruit that we were able to eat were the strawberries and the grapes. Needless to say, it was a very expensive arrangements for two spears of grapes and six strawberries.
I received the arrangement on a Sunday and I had a very busy few days at work. On Friday I called the local franchise that made and delivered it to me. I had to call the store 2x before the owner finally called me back. In a nutshell he told me that, "he owns his own business and he makes time to take care of his problems, because I didn't call earlier, he would do nothing for me." I couldn't believe how obnoxious and rude he was to me. I reminded him that I was a repeat customer and I feel that he should do something for me. He restated no and that was that!!
The owners name is Michael and I would stay FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS FRANCHISE. HE DOES NOT APPRECIATE HIS CUSTOMERS AND HE DOES NOT STAND BEHIND HIS PRODUCT!!
BUYER BEWARE!!!

Edible fruit baskets!
I ordered a basket for my husband to be delivered on Friday Feb 15. They never delivered the basket. When I called to inquire the store operator apologized, but stated she could not deliver until Monday AND refused to give a delivery time. This would be fine IF I was notified the delivery would not be made, BUT I was not. I had to find out where the $70 arrangement was. My husband was disappointed I did not give him a gift of Feb. 14. I assured him the gift was on its way and would arrive on Friday Feb. 15. Now I have NOTHING to show for my $70 and I have to explain where the gift is. So MUCH FOR THE SURPRISE. I will have to explain what happened. A romantic gesture has turned into a customer service nightmare! Save your money, buy flowers!

Poor customer service!
The product is very cute but the customer service at the franchisees (at least at Far Hills, NJ) and at the corporate office have had us tell them NOT TO DELIVER TO US! A friend wanted to send us one of their baskets of fruit to thank me for helping them with some PC problems (I know how to fix PCs... if you can't tell, I can't make nice LOOKING websites! But the content, at least here is what counts).
So the Far Hills office calls to tell us they will be delivering a gift. I ask who it's from 3 times and it wasn't till I hung up on them and they called back, did they tell me on the 4th request who it was from. And this is cut fruit (hopefully fresh) so you shouldn't leave it outside too long. So I ask 'when will you be coming / can we set a time' for you to drop this off? She tells me 'no, we can't commit to a time!' We're supposed to stay home all day for this?!
As much as I am a kid at heart, I've cut fruit pieces and PB&J sandwiches in different shapes, and this would be our first Edible Arrangements basket, I tell her we don't want the delivery. She should call the people sending the gift to thank them but the recipient doesn't want it because Edible Arrangements customer service is pitiful. She says OK (quite willingly, with no qualms) and I hang up.
I want to let their corporate office know how a franchisee is annoying (at least) one customer. Their website has no corporate phone number. I call the Livingston, NJ locaiton and get the corporate 800 number. I google the company and find the president's name. Calling at 8:15AM, I dial by name and get a recording that is out of the office till October 16th. If you need immediate assistance, call Cheryl at a 7 digit extension?! No, that doesn't work in their phone system. A phone number? What's their F_ing area code.
More searches on Google. Ah, 203... Dial that number - it'll take me right to Cheryl's line!? NO! That's their F_ing switchboard. OK, I can dial by name, like I did for the president. It wants you to dial by LAST NAME!? What the F___! Cheryl only left her first name on that recording.
