In January of 2009, I received a call from a representative of 6 Figure Consulting (Nic Johnson). He sold me a package for Thrive Institute, representing that their services were compatible with MAC Computers. After purchasing the package, I discovered from Thrive technicians that this was not true and I would have to purchase a new computer to support their learning tools.

I contacted Mr. Johnson to request a refund, and I was told I was certainly entitled to that. Several days later, I received a call from Nic Johnson, informing me that I would be re-imbursed for the purchase of a new computer. I was never re-imbursed. The "coaches" at Thrive knew less than I did about running a business with Paypal and E-bay, and knew nothing about setting up a website. Furthermore, they referred me to The Tax Club for tax services and incorporation of my business. I am now in a dispute with The Tax Club, which I believe sold my name and other to companies who continually harrass me about "other services" (for a fee, of course); these companies claim that my name was sold to them by both 6 Figure Consulting and The Tax Club. the latter now claims they do not know how to get in touch with 6 Figure, and none of the e-mails and telephone numbers I had are working.

This is a serious matter, I was recently widowed and have a child. It is embarrassing to me that a lawyer who ran her own business for over 25 years should fall prey to a scam, but I was understandably an easy victim with all I had endured and having relocated to a new state. I wish to press this matter, because if I can be taken, anyone can. At this point, my financial investment is over $40, 000 and I will be going bankrupt in January, something I never believed could happen to me. I am educated, hardworking and successfully ran a business for a long period of time.

These companies disappear and reappear at will, believing they can not be touched by "little people" like me. I am willing to front a class action suit against them.
