I had a Providian account with no late payment over a 2 year period. one day i went to use the card and it was shut off. I called Providian and found that they had sold my card to Emerge. I payed of this balance over a1 year period and still 4 years later bthey have not cleared my credit report and Emerge has no record of me having a account
