This moving broker is a rip off. They gave us a quote of $5, 900 and are now demanding $12, 400 for release of our furniture and household goods. They are using Cubic Feet, which is against the law and also are adding fees that were never agreed upon. For instance, we have been disputing their charges since day one. Now they are charging almost $1000 for outside storage for less than two weeks. They just keep adding charges not disclosed on a contract. I want to make sure no one else gets taken by this company and that they are made to follow the law. We had a professional mover come in and estimate our move at no more than $7, 200 based on actual inventory. These guys are rip offs.
