We called enterprise rental before our vacation and asked if they provided a one way rental service back to our hometown 5 hours away, since we were driving a car to drop off for a family member. They told us yes they provide that service and made our reservation. When we called a few days before our scheduled departure we were told by another rep that they do not provide that service for that long a distance. We were now upset because we now had to try to find a way home. and the rep would only say sorry we cant do that. She never sounded truly sorry or really had any sympathy for us. We were able to have better luck with Hertz and they were very sympathetic to our situation.
