Last October or so I spent a few hours filling out an interview for Expatify, called Spotlight Me! Also, as requested, I put together some photos in a Picasa Album and emailed these to them a few days later, all to their posted email address.

I got no response, so after a few weeks I emailed again to make sure they received my interview and photos. The letter was returned, the server wasn't receiving. I attempted a few more times, and got the same error message.

The Expatify site also say they can be reached with a private message in Twitter. I sent three, with no response, except for a mass communication advertising their site to followers on Twitter.

A friend who has had his work featured with Expatify told me around year's end that Expatify's email was now working. Sure enough when I wrote again... always pleasantly... the mail wasn't returned... but still no response!

I posted two inquiries on the Wall for Expatify in Facebook. Again, it was like dropping a stone down a well and never getting a splash.

How can an organization that wants business not respond to their email? I feel disrespected and upset that my work didn't even merit a 'Sorry, we can't find a use for what you sent us'?
