I bought a five dollar phone card. The terms and conditions said no connection fee, additional charges for calls placed from a pay phone. I successfully placed one local, five minute call from a pay phone using the PIN number on the back of the card. Three days later I attempted to use the card to make a call from a land line. "You have insufficient balance to place this call" , I was told - this was before I had even dialed to number, meaning that I had insufficient balance to make ANY call! That's a very expensive local call!

When I called customer service to complain, I could only reach a recording saying that my PIN was invalid - this being the same PIN I used to successfully place my one and only call using the phone card. I plan to go to the store where i purchased the card and demand a refund.
