I'm not the first to complain about this, it appears. I got an e-mail after placing an order for an expensive Nikon lens telling me I needed to call to confirm the order. The agent started off by saying "I shouldn't be telling you this..." and proceeded to let me know about a much better lens than the Nikkor I'd ordered. Of course, it was $800 more, but it was SO much better in every way, etc. He went on in this vein for some time. I remained adamant. He did manage to talk me out of upgrading a bit to the filter kit (not that bad an idea, but not what I ordered). I saved several hundred dollars ordering from expresscamera, but do not plan on buying from them again.
