The mans name is Paul Sellaro- has ads on Craigs list under Faith Handyman Services- says he is reliable and trustowrthy- he is none of the above and the worst painter i have ever encountered.

The service started in April- continued thru July- 4 months and nothing was ever finished and it is a mess. He painted a few rooms and 2 hallways- never finished one area- got paint on a fabric shade, 6 pieces of furniture, carpet and floors. He never showed up at least 7 times - was late and unreliable- left ceilings, trim and walls unfinished in every room- refused to refund some of my money. Asked me to pay him in cash, which i did not want to do- wanted me to go to the ATM.

he spent one weekend in JAIL due to driving on a suspended license, unknown to me and i assume other clients, couldnt get a hold of him- never showed up for the job as scheduled- then he told me that!.

Unfortunately, i paid him in increments- and just about paid in full- did subtract some for the fabric shade, but them i saw all the other messes he left.

He started by putting in a vinyl floor in my hallway-in APRIL- never cleaned the original floor to lay the new tiles down- stuffed the tiles under the trim instead of lifting trim- was supposed to replace some of the trim, put part of it in, never finished the rest or painting it-

He never repaired anything on the walls before he slapped paint on them- Nail pops and holes and marks everywhere-

I have been getting estimates to fix this mess- everyone that has come in to do that has commented on what a horrible job he has done.

Paul actually told me i complained too much when i was pointing out the things that were not up to par- not to mention all the pieces in my house he just about ruined- i had asked him to hang 2 mirrors- then he commneted that i was asking him to do extra things- the whole thing took 5 minutes and i never asked him to do it for free- i would have paid him but then he never showed up and ruined my things.

a horrible experience and do not hire this man to do any work in your house. his favorite line was i can knock it out in 2 hours- he rushed thru everything and it looks it-

i would recommend not hiring this man- he is unreliable and does horrible work!
