I was looking for a debt consolidation loan and applied online to Farley and McBride. I was contacted by Mr. Earl Lee who stated Iwas approved for the loan. He then told me in order for me to obtain the loan I would have to provide a down payment. He stated the down payment is to secure the loan and it would either be refunded to me or applied to the loan. I found this suspicious but they faxed me all the loan documents and everything seemed legitimate. I sent the money to them via moneygram. I was then told the money would be in my bank account the following day. Of course there was no money. I contacted Mr Lee and he told me that my account had been "redflagged" and they would not be issuing me the loan and that my deposit would be refunded in 7 days. I then of course never did see my money again. I spoke with Mr Lee one more time and he bansically laughed at me on the phone and told me I had been scammed. I was devastated as I am normally very level headed but I was desperate to get my financial affairs in order and now they took all the money I had and laughed about it.
