I have my visa credit card for over 10 years, started with Chase, then IstBank took over my credit card. I was satisfied with Chase and IstBank, who approved my credit limit, until FIA card services came in to the picture as credit card servicing for IstBank. The only info I know about FIA was that they were merely servicing my card, because each time I called for a question regarding my payments particularly date posting of payment online, FIA would direct me to my bank, IstBank. This has been going on for years, and my credit card limit was issued by IstBank. I decided to see if I can increase my credit limit, I went online this time because I thought that my request would be directed to IstBank, instead, FIA who all these years have been reviewing my credit card information before approving balance transfers, cut my credit limit to my balance without any letter or explanation. These people are very unprofessional, deceptive (they are nice on the phone, last time I called, to increase the balance by a mere $600, the lady said, it is approved, NEVER was approved, I found out later), rude and mean! They wrote me a later suggesting options to pay my credit card, which is an insult, because I was never delayed in paying and always much over the minimum payment! FIA will manage your budget for you!!
