https://www.womo.com.au/josief4 I have attended First Impressions Laser Clinic for three treatments now and am loving it. Twice in the city clinic and now once in their Smith Street clinic. I was initially terrified at the thought of having laser treatment on my face and hands but I very much wanted to remove my dreaded age spots (about the size of five cent pieces) and also hopefully reduce some of my wrinkles. The girls assured me the new PicoSure laser was safe and very effective. They were extremely patient with me and very detailed making sure they had a complete history - I even had to go get a doctors certificate to make sure I had been checked for skin cancers and the like. I have now had three treatments and my age spot on the bridge of my nose has completely gone and my husband has told me to keep going as the change in my face has been wonderful. The treatment took about 15 minutes and I had a red face (looked sun burned) for about an hour. The treatment was not so much painful, just a little uncomfortable (I would rate it 4/10). I was not sore after the session and resumed normal activities immediately. I will be back for more.

I had been previously going to a well known laser and skin clinic in the suburbs for my laser tattoo removal, and was not happy with the service I was receiving. I would see a different person every appointment, and there was absolutely no personalisation of my tattoo removal treatments based on my results. I was also paying top dollar for these treatments. After six months, I knew it was time to move on. I was first made aware of First Impressions via Pete Sherrington of The Piercing Urge at Pete absolutely raved about the clinic, and Pete is a man who knows his stuff. I made my first appointment at First Impressions soon thereafter. For my first appointment, I booked to have a small area treated. And that is all it took for me to be a convert to First Impressions, and leave the old behind. Mandy has since been taking amazing care of me. Mandy is now currently treating three tattoos – one on my arm, one on my leg, and one on my foot. I am seeing excellent results thus far. Once these have fully cleared, I will be commencing treatment on several tattoos on my back. I have also had several PicoSure Focus laser rejuvenation treatments done on my face to treat a myriad of issues – some scarring and hyperpigmentation being the primary issues. However, I have also been seeing a remarkable difference in my rosacea – even though PicoSure Focus is not specifically designed nor marketed as a treatment for rosacea, I have seen a drastic improvement in my skin. This was a completely unexpected result. Aside from that, the PicoSure Focus treatment has successfully improved the appearance of a number of scars on my face (including some old piercing holes) and scars from prior surgery. I have also had some surgical scars on my body treated, and have also had impressive results there. Overall, I am absolutely thrilled with the treatment I have been receiving at First Impressions. First and foremost is the service – Mandy goes out of her way to provide an exceptional service, getting to know you as a client, and tailoring your laser sessions accordingly to maximise your results. There is also a strong focus when it comes to maintaining their equipment, staying up to date with the latest training and techniques, and doing any research needed for individual clients. And most importantly – both Mandy and Dani of First Impressions are fully accredited by the manufacturer of PicoSure, Cynosure, to perform PicoSure laser treatments.
