I signed a contract with Five Point Travel on Saturday, Nov 8th. As soon as I realized that this company was fraudulent, I closed my credit account before they were able to take my money, so I am safe there. My question is...do I need to do something more to protect myself from being held to the contract? I was prepared to have a notary witness the signature on the contract, saying that I am cancelling within the alloted 3 business days before the contract is binding? Will they attempt to come after me for payment?
