My 85 year old mother lives on a fixed income. She contacted the company after seeing a come on ad for air duct cleaning $23 with free dryer vent cleaning, ac check up and organic deodorizer. Sounds too good to be true ? It was as they charged her credit card $428. She only called for an estimate and when two men arrived with their equipment she protested o hat they were there only to confirm the price in the ad. She said they came into the living room and removed the cover of the a/c and before she could say a word they started the job anyway. They never removed the dryer vent, hose or moved the equipment. They never entered any other room to clean the vents. After hearing her story we called the company and they sad " too bad she signed" They wont give an itemized bill/receipt or offer a verbal explanation for the extra charge of $405.00 After some web searching I found several company names using the phone numbers 877-800-0597 and 866-554-duct (866-544-3828). My experience is most companies try to build up their companies name reputation and a warning sign is when they use several names and phone numbers an obvious tact of scam companies.
