A friend of mine told me about Loanfax when I was refinancing my house. What a great idea these people came up with! This company provided me a FREE company background check on a lender I was considering and BOY am I glad they did! Turns out this particular company had a history of screwing over their clients but you'd never know by their website...it was all patriotic looking. Some patriots, their quote had hidden fees and would have cost me a full point more than the loan I got through one of the lenders Loanfax's referred me to. Thanks to Jim, my customer service rep at Loanfax...thanks to him, I saved thousands of dollars in closing costs and got a better rate!
