Thrifty Vet (http://www.thriftyvet.com/) advertises Frontline Plus for Cats as Flea and Tick projection. However, when the product arrived, the package says that it is only for Flea protection. The package details says that the product is produced by Merial in Australia (www. merial.com.au). I went to the Merial.com.au web site and verified that the product I received from Thrifty Vet only kills fleas. Check it out for yourself: http://au.merial.com/products/cats_frontline_plus.asp. Thrifty Vet advertises Frontline Plus for Cats for FLEA AND TICKS!!! I believe this is a purposeful mis-representation. I did further research and found that there must be an American version of Frontline Plus that DOES kill Fleas and Ticks.
