I have two months left on my extended warranty. I took my HP laptop into Fry Electronics about two weeks ago. The ONLY proplem I was having is that two of the four usb ports stopped working. The computer worked fine...I first had a couple other Tech services check it out and they beleived it was the motherboard which is under the warranty. Fry Electronics left me a voice mail stating that it was shipped to Hp and Hp says it has liquid damage, broken parts, top of motherboard broken, broken keyboard, broken audio board, broken cables, broken LCD cover and broken LED bubbles...? and all theses things where phisically damaged and I would need to pay $460.00 for the repairs. Unbelievable I've been down this road with them before. But this time the tech that I signed it in with...knew the condition of the unit and he is also a friend of mine...I'll be paying them a visit in a few days.
