I purchased a washer/dryer at Cullens home center in July and was promised a $500 grocery rebate and a $500 gas rebate. They had the information on the grocery rebate the day I purchased the appliances, but not the gas rebate. I was later mailed the gas rebate information along with a copy of "$500.00 Rebate Offer Terms and Conditions" which I thoroughly read and complied with. However now I am learning that the "Terms & Conditions" on the website are different than the ones that I received in writing and I have been disqualified from receiving the gas rebates because in addition to gas being purchased, cigarettes and food were purchased at the same time which is commonly done. I feel very ripped off. I am going to notify the retailer and tell them what a scam this was.
