Whew! Thought we were the only idiots dealing with these people. Purchased a piece of jewelry on a card with a promotional "no interest for a year" deal. Made monthly payments but also purchased 2 more pieces, all from the same store (which, by the way, was the store that offered the credit card application to us.) When the promotional period expired, we received a statement showing an outrageous interest charge. When calculating the charge, they included ALL purchases made on the card when only the original purchase should have been at that rate. Now we're recieving late payment charges and of course, the famous "over limit" charges. Why are we now over our limit? Because of the interest charges! Can't wait to pay this sucker off!
