On February 1, 2007 I made a payment to Sam's Club which was my payment due date. I then received another bill with a due date of February 26, 2007, apparently they decided it was ok to make me pay two payments within a one month period. I e-mailed Sam's Club on 2-16-07 and 2-21-07 requesting them to change my due date back to the original due date as I could not possibly make two payments in a one month period. I received an e-mail (from L. Brown and C. Castro) on both of my requests assuring me that my due date had been changed. I paid my bill on the first of the month and was charged a late charge because they had not changed the due date as promised. I also had two telephone conversations with customer service (David and Roland) and was again assured my due date would be changed. It still did not happen. I sent another e-mail suggesting because of their incompetance I was considering (key word here considering) closing my account. I received an e-mail from D. Rani and he took it upon himself to close my account without my permission. On April 8, 2008, I attempted to reopen my charge account at the Sam' Club store and was told there was a computer glitch and was put on hold for about a minute and when the rep came back on the line I was told they were denying my credit request and I would receive a reason in writing in 7-10 days. Their reason in writing was because my credit score did not score well in relation to other customers. I have since requested my credit score from two of the bureaus and one is 861 and the other is 853. I called GEMB/Sam's Club to try and talk to someone and all they would tell me, is it must be the Credit Bureaus fault and I would need to contact them. Needless to say I don't appreciate GEMB/Sam's Club trashing my good name and my excellent credit rating.
