I resently bought a 700R4 transmission from Goodfellastransmission.com.
For their advertised price of $1095 for the Hitman package! When I called to find out when the trans would ship, iwas told i would have to purches a torque coverter lock-up kit, and the price would be $100.00, which is not in their advertisement? I (assumed) it would be the wiring lock-up type switch kit, but they take out the original wiring, and claim that they put in a hydrolic lock-up kit that is automatic???? I'm leery about installing the trans. The transmission houseing was not cleaned properly, they painted over dirt, grease, and what ever else was on the houseing, very unprofessional!!
I suggest not buying a transmission from Goodfellastransmissions.com.
