Received advertisement from google treasure chest to receive a CD for free information for a charge of $1 plus shipping for a total cost of approx. $3.00. In January I noticed a charge of $72.21 on my credit card statement and another in February. Apparently, they charge $72.21 for an website service that I never signed up for and was not properly disclosed. Beware and do not order anything from Google Treasure Chest or Google Money Tree. It is a scam to get you to give them your account information so they can charge you for services you are unaware of.

What i did. Called the 888 705-1275 and cancled my account. They will charge me for the month of Febuary So I'm on the hook for $220.51 They are connected with a company fron N.V. called Internetiniative. The $72.21 charge is at the bottom of the contract I signed so not to much I can do but to warn all.

On 1/12/09 I ordered a home business package from the company through an online promotion, this was supposed to be a charge of $3.88 for shipping of the business package (which I never received). On 1/20/09 an additions charge of $72.21 was debited from my account. I at no point in time authorized this charge. The address for Customer Service is located in Sandy, Utah. I am currently filing a complaint with the State of Utah Attorney General, the Attorney Generals Office in my home state of Ohio, as well as with the FTC. I would urge anyone that has been scammed by these people to do the same.

I was charged $72.21 for something called Google Treasure Chest after ordering a training CD on "how to make money online" for the agreed price of $3.88. I have no idea what the $72.21 charge is for nor did I authorize it. They charged me both of the above charges on two separate dates. There was nothing in the fine print about any additional charges. I have received the training CD, but I have not had time to view it. I plan to return it once I get in touch with the company!

I called the number and they said I had agree to terms and they wouldn't refund the charge. I don't remember agree to further charges of anything
