I received a renewal notice from Gourmet Magazine around June 2008 which I ignored because I no longer wanted the magazine. I then started to receive notices demanding payment of a $15 renewal fee or my credit rating would be ruined. Today I received a notice stating that my account was going to be turned over to a collection agency.

I did not renew the magazine and it stoped coming around July 2008. I paid for the original 2 year subscriptiom in July 2006 by check so that I was not subject to the automatic renewal policy of Gourmet Magazine.
