I had a call one day (I did not contact them) from a person that said they can help me qualify for a government grant because my wife had just passed away and there were government agencies that could help in my financial hardship. As I listened he promised that they could find an agency that would help. They want $3, 655.00 for this service, which made me think real hard on whether this could be real or not. He pre- qualified me on the phone and said that I could get as much as $11, 000 although (Key words) we can't gaurantee that. But we have a staff of advisors that will help you write your grant. Well I was a sucker and bit. I paid the $3, 655.00 with my credit card. About a month later I got my package in the mail (Had to sign for it) and when my advisor (that they provided) called, she said I am sorry, but there are no government grants that you could qualify for. My heart sunk to the floor knowing now that I was taken advantage of. I called my credit card company and protested the charges, but since My Funding Resources did everything by phone and no written contract there is nothing I could so about it. I am in the process of talking to a lawyer now, but it doesn't look like that will help either because they did everything by law. So I am $3, 655.00 screwed.
