I got a text message from Grands (Malta Real Estate) telling me I had to leave my apartment as I had not renewed my contract. They hadn't let me know that my contract was up for renewal and so I was unaware that I needed to renew. When I approached them they said it was not their business to let me know I was up for renewal even though they had sent me a reminder the same time the year before. I am now having to leave my apartment as they had found a new tenant before they even let me know that I had to move out. Pretty much the worst ever customer service and lack of professionalism!
