Grant Funding Solutions had an ad for a "free CD" just pay $2.29 s/h. After calling customer service at 888-535-5354 I was told that this included a membership fee of $33.87 per month which would be drafted from my bank account, after I've received the CD. I told the lady I did not want to be a member and she should cancel it and take me out of their data base. I asked that the company DO NOT SIGN ME UP AS A MEMBER AND I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THEM TO DRAFT ANY MONEY FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT. Customer service refused to listen and insistd that I call them back in seven days 5/4/08, from the time I gave my bank information 4/27/08 for the "free CD." Another company or maybe the same company under a different name (GrantConsultant.com) 888-868-0848 / 800-685-2713, also got my banking information and called me saying they would draft $39.95 from my bank account, I told them I never orderd anything from them, do not send me anything and do not draft any money from my bank account. At this point I will contact Nevada State Attorney General office and the Governors Office of Consumer Affairs, since I live in NC, I will do the same here. What these companies are doing is criminal, they are predators on consumers.
