Halfpricedmags.com is a COMPLETE scam of a Web site. I had placed a few successful orders before I decided to order a "bridal package" of 3 wedding magazines for a friend, none of which she ever received. They replied and said they'd resubmit the order, but it was too late for her to use the magazines at that point. I then placed an order for Us Magazine over a year ago and have NEVER received it. I've e-mailed the company several times with nothing but an automated response. I am now forced to take my matter to small claims court, over a measly $36.59. Just send me my DAMN MAGAZINE!!

On 5/31/07 I placed and paid for two magazine subscriptions with Half Priced Mags. Having received no magazines, I contacted them on 8/21/07 and was told " The customer service team has received your email and a new ticket has been created. Your ticket ID is xxx Please make sure this ID number is in the subject line of all your emails to us." I emailed back asking what precisely that meant and received no response. I also sent a follow-up email several days later with the same result. Today, 9/28/07, I googled "Half Priced Mags" and found out they have been scamming people by taking their money and not filling subscriptions. Although it wasn't a lot of money, it still really stinks to have been ripped off.
