I was in the Hanks store in Fayetteville when I found 2 chairs that I purchased. The chairs were not in stock at that location and I was told they would be available in approx a week. I went ahead and paid for the chairs in full.

I left Hanks and went to another store that afternoon and found some chairs that I liked even better and that were in stock. I called Hanks immediatly (approx 1 hour later) and canceled the order. I was told that I would have to pay a 25% restock fee on the chairs.

These chairs never left the building or were even touched by a worker in that amount of time. There is absolutely no reason that I should ever have to pay a restock fee. After complaining to the manager I was told that they would waive the restock fee if I purchased something else from their store. What a rackett!!! I will never shop there again.
