Bought Kingsbury model of Harbour Breeze Aug 2010 at Lowe's Bloomfield Hills, Michigan put above master bed, loved it for rest of 2010, it's remote model. So this spring started to get Hot days, used it few nights on all night. Then laying in bed watching fan, it started doing weird stuff was on low and it seemed it wasn't sure which direction it was going, it would stop then go on its own. Remote was hung up in its holder. I grabbed it and turned off and back on, light on off everything works..! So left on low with light off. Was running 20 mins. and noticed it slow down to almost stop then go again then stop, THEN I smell plastic burning. Jumped up shut main switch off. Tried once more nothing not even light. Took down, you can smell its burnt inside. Call Lowe's seeings not even year old, they said nothing they will do, its over 90 days...! Is anyone else having this problem and any sugestions.
