The wood floor they installed is under warrenty, but fortunately for them they are able to say that the repairs needed were not caused by ANYTHING under the warranty but rather by something that is not covered. Man, thats convienent. Im in the Navy and have been for 21 years (Chief). I have never been treated this way and the current situation with the floor is a safety hazard for my children. Personally, I would want to fix it ASAP. I have already been cut by the two boards and am concerned that my children will too, unfortunately for us, Haynes is not. They want $200 to fix the boards. Its funny how everything can be manipulated these days to give the companies the advantage. I say I didnt cause the problem, they say we did. I was told this by someone (a Haynes representative) that had never even seen the floor nor had ever been to my house. Im glad I can serve to give people the right to refuse repairs without payment. I wish they had told me this 4 months ago when I first notified them of the issue. At that time it was "no problem, someone will be right out".
